This digital image was constructed by Bruce Stewart, whose many other contributions can be found on this website. Bruce tells us the 1960 Olds was actually shot in broad daylight, and the car's owner, Bruce's neighbor, kindly opened the door for a more dramatic picture, with the "courtesy" light on the headliner. In his reconstruction, and in keeping with 1960, Bruce removed the seatbelts and changed the flag to the Red Ensign. But one can easily notice that the city skyline is the modern one of today. In response to that Bruce suggests that it can perhaps be likened to a "skyline of the mind." Or perhaps, as Bruce further suggests "the owner is in a time warp in a FUTURE Vancouver where everything is overly built-up and he/she, after all, is still stuck in nineteen sixty!"
